The Ability Inclusion Strategic Plan (AISP) and the Intercultural Strategic Plan (ISP) form the core of this initiative. AISP principles of engagement, integrated planning, partnerships, and universal design ensure residents with disabilities co-design public services. The ISP led to the creation of an Interfaith Network of local faith leaders and advisory councils comprised of community organizations. These plans resulted in events like Harmony Week and culturally safe health services.
