São Paulo, SP School Clinic Rooftop Solar Renewable Energy
In Progress
Project partner Sol da Saúde Consortium will install solar panels on the roofs of 80 Basic Health Units (UBS). On-site battery storage enables remote consumption of zero-emission energy by 92 additional clinics. This phase of the city's Clean Energy Program will reduce energy costs by 36 million reals over 25 years and reduce annual emissions by 24,000 tons. São Paulo plans a similar project for 775 public schools and administrative centers after the selection of an installer.
