The Township of South Heidelberg has partnered with the Conrad Weiser School District to host live-action shooter drills for county law enforcement agencies. The realistic live-action drills evoke similar physiological and psychological effects as they would in an actual mass shooting. Officers learn during a post-drill review how their body and mind reacts in an extremely stressful incident so they are better prepared to manage symptoms during an actual critical incident.
