In Progress

South Taranaki District Council disabled public wifi networks at its local libraries to reduce the risk of crowds gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the Council is supporting the Skinny Jump service provided by, Spark, a New Zealand-based telecommunications company. Residents can now contact the library staff via phone for assistance setting up an email address and registering with Skinny Jump to receive a free modem and internet access at home.
