St. Louis, MO SiLVERS Senior Resident Shuttle Program
St. Louis Vehicle Electrification Rides for Seniors (SiLVERS) provides non-emergency rides in Forth plug-in vehicles. This program fills transit gaps for seniors in need of reliable service to appointments, events, and shopping areas. Residents aged 60 and older schedule rides through City Seniors Inc. and Northside Youth and Senior Service Center. St. Louis received funding from the U.S. Department of Energy as part of its Advanced Innovative Vehicle Technologies program.
