The Middleburg Heights City Council unanimously approved legislation authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with the city of Strongsville to join the regional emergency operations dispatch center. By joining the regional center the city will be able to improve dispatcher reaction times and acquire additional personnel. The dispatch center services will cost the city $37,500 per month funded through the police department's budget.
