Surrey County Council, GB supports independent senior living with remote monitoring system
Surrey County Council, GB Remote Monitoring Senior Living
Fifty-three seniors participated in an initial pilot in Mole Valley District Council. Cascade3d sensors and smart plugs were applied throughout homes for around-the-clock monitoring. Daily movement patterns were analyzed and documented in a centralized system. Changes in these patterns triggered alerts to carers and family members. County officials anticipate the system's use by other local councils as well as a subscription option for individuals.
