The council incorporated a CityCat V20e sweeper into its fleet during a one-month pilot. The plug-in sweeper from Bucher Municipal lasts up to eight hours per charge and recharges without special equipment. Additional features like articulated steering and low-noise operation improve experiences for drivers and residents. If successful, the CityCat V20e would join four plug-in cars and an electric garbage truck in the council's zero-emission fleet.
