Tompkins County partnered with Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services to launch its COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program. The program will pay up to three months rent for participating households. Participating households must have no more than 80% of the area median income and be economically impacted by COVID-19. Participating landlords must agree to waive any late fees and not increase the rent during the assistance period.
