The City of Victoria created an Accessibility Advisory Committee to make recommendations on initiatives designed to make the community more accessible and inclusive. The committee is compromised of nine voting members, limited to individuals with accessibility challenges, appointed by the Council for a one-year term. The committee meets once every three months to address accessibility considerations and inform city planning.
