Waimakariri District Council, NZ electric vehicle chargers

In Progress

Waimakariri District Council partnered with Meridian to install electric vehicle chargers in public car parks. The dual-socketed 22kw AC charging stations can deliver up to 120km of travel per hour of charging. The chargers are fully owned and operated by Meridian but they cover the full cost of the equipment and installation while the Council simply licenses access to the land.
