The municipality added 14 EV charging stations at four lots to support public charging. Whistler also created a nine-month grant program to match provincial EV charger funding for private properties. Single-family homes qualify for $700 CAD grants, while apartments and businesses qualify for $1,000 CAD grants. Whistler's EV charging initiatives work toward emission reduction goals established in the Climate Action Big Moves Strategy.
