The Atlanta City Council approved a resolution to study whether dedicated park rangers can improve public safety in the city. The feasibility study will explore establishing a park rangers public safety unit. The Council will be seeking feedback from the Atlanta Police Department and Department of Parks and Recreation after the study is completed.
