Baltimore, MD Gun Trafficking Intelligence Platform Pilot

In Progress

Everytown for Gun Safety customized the new data tool to meet Baltimore's law enforcement needs. The platform draws on the national e-Trace system, ShotSpotter data, and police reports to identify guns used in local crimes. Investigators consult the platform to find shops and individual dealers who sold weapons to suspects. The Baltimore Police Department will use comprehensive data to shape initiatives for trafficking and crime reduction.
