Bristol City Council, GB moves toward carbon neutrality with low-emissions Bristol Heat Network
Bristol City Council, GB Heat Network Low Emissions
The Bristol Heat Network connects combined heat and power plants (CHP) throughout the area using underground pipes. Residential and commercial buildings in the network do not require individual heating systems in the new system. Council officials announced a 375-home property development will connect to the network in 2022. Revenues from commercial connections to the Bristol Heat Network could fund the adoption of solar, wind, and other zero-emission energy sources.
