In Progress

Bucks County is utilizing virtual reality simulations to provide police officers with crisis intervention training. Police officers enroll in a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program designed to help participants better understand mental health crises that residents may experience from their perspective. Participants use HTC Vive VR goggles to engage in realistic scenario-based learning in order to improve their responses when working with people experiencing a mental health crisis.
