The platform was created by Energy Systems Catapult for a two-month voting period. Bury residents expressed their favorite options from a list of low-carbon heating systems. Zerocarbon.vote featured a simple interface with feedback submitted in as little as five minutes. Council leaders will factor resident preferences into discussions of how home energy improvements advance Bury toward its goal of carbon-neutrality in 2038.
