Cambridge, ON Citywide Smart Water Meter Pilot
Cambridge and ICONIX Waterworks tested smart meters in West Galt and West Preston homes prior to this project. Three installation stages will upgrade 2,700 households between October 2019 and December 2021. This advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) catches water supply issues and produces accurate monthly bills. Cambridge officials maintain a progress map showing the percentage of conversions completed by neighborhood.
