Council officials approved the three-year pilot as a cost-effective option for far-flung communities. The go-too service completes journeys within the council's southwest region. Residents in the pilot zone use a Via-based mobile app to request rides Monday through Saturday. The service uses 16-seat buses with accessible entryways for passengers with mobility issues. Each ride aboard a go-too shuttle costs £3 with a free ride awarded for every five paid rides.
