The Chicago Police Department and Elucd began surveying residents about police interactions in 2017. A color-coded map indicates public views on trust and safety within the city's 22 police districts. Dashboard users find a citywide trust trendline based on more than 60,000 survey responses. Graphs on public trust in police by age, income, race, and other demographics dig deeper into the numbers. The dashboard will be updated based on approximately 2,000 monthly responses.
