Christchurch City Council created a programme to redevelop private vacant sites in the city centre. The Council is partnering with local businesses and communities to encourage site owners by connecting them with support services to inform designs, streamline consents, and support construction. The programme was designed to improve the central city experience, attract visitors, and improve investments in the local economy.
