Clark County, NV expands ShotSpotter program
Clark County is expanding its ShotSpotter pilot from three-neighborhoods to 23 square miles of coverage. The system detects the sounds of gunshots and contacts local police. During a one year pilot, it detected 487 shootings in the county that were not otherwise reported.
