Cork County Council and Enterprise Ireland installed sensors and emergency alert buttons in the homes of Mitchelstown residents. Sensors detect movement and temperature changes that may indicate health incidents in participant homes. Data from the pilot will inform conversations about broader adoption of in-home sensors as well as a Friendly Call check-in service.
