East Devon District Council, GB adds customized plug-in vans as part of 2040 carbon-neutral effort

East Devon District Council, GB Customized Plug-in Vans 2040

Complete

East Devon became the first local government in the United Kingdom to adopt customized electric vans. Each Nissan ENV200 features a caged cargo area with a tipping feature for easier loading and unloading. The vans can travel up to 187 miles per charge, allowing council drivers to complete tasks without stopping for fuel. Council officials added the vans along with four smart chargers in Sidmouth to move toward carbon-neutral operations by 2040.
