Franklin County has started requiring that vendors connect to county systems exclusively through the Cisco AnyConnect VPN portal with Duo multifactor authentication. Previously, vendors could use their preferred remote access protocols when accessing the county's internal systems. The new process limits each vendor's access to predefined endpoints on the the county's network to prohibit any fraudulent activity.
