The Fred-eHack event asks participants for pitches on how to maximize the network's usage. Hackathon teams use the city's Open Data Portal, sensor development kits, and expert advice during the 12-hour development period. Winning teams qualify for up to CAD 1,000 in cash or CAD 5,000 in eleven-x services and opportunities for city-backed pilots.
