Fredericton, NB 5G Network BOOST Innovation Camp
Interdisciplinary teams gathered for the week-long innovation event hosted by the Fredericton Innovation Partnership. Each team designed prototypes for emergency response and real-time planning solutions based in 5G connectivity. Project partners Kognitiv Spark, Rogers 5G, and Siemens Canada supplied city data and resources for workable prototypes. Winning team members received customized mentoring, Chamber of Commerce memberships, and 5G-capable iPhone 12s.
Project Succeeded
Ten teams participated in the BOOST Innovation Camp with Fog Cutter winning the event for its remote holographic support for first responders. CapInno won the People's Choice Award for its live flood risk assessment model.
