Helsinki, FI self-service machines waste sorting payments

Complete

The City of Helsinki piloted self-service machines at the Kivikko Sortti waste station. The self-service machines were installed to help residents pay for waste sorting more efficiently. Users were able to pay in advance online and simply show the self-service machine the QR code provided by eSort. If the pilot is successful, the city plans to expand the services to all Sortti waste stations.
