An Include Steora smart bench was added to John Simpson Park. The bench uses solar panels to power two USB charging ports for device power-ups. Park patrons experience improved connectivity thanks to built-in Wi-Fi. City officials benefit from data generated by the bench's 15 sensors. A city dashboard provides analysis of air quality and power usage data necessary for maintenance as well as future smart city additions.
