Kawartha Lakes, ON Starter Company PLUS COVID-19 Adapts

The Kawartha Lakes Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre selects up to seven entrepreneurs for each cohort. Experienced business owners provide guidance on concept development, planning, and operations over three training sessions. Program graduates qualify for up to $4,000 CAD each in funding to start or expand their companies. Kawartha Lakes adjusted the program to train and fund participants for COVID-19 adjustments like touchless payments and outdoor points of sales.
