Kent County Council, GB undertakes e-scooter pilot with Canterbury City Council and Bird
Kent County Council, GB Canterbury Lime E-Scooter Pilot
Bird will supply up to 100 dockless e-scooters in Canterbury for the one-year trial. The pilot will limit use to students and faculty of the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University in its early stages. The geofenced pilot area will expand to other areas of Canterbury if the first phase proves successful. Kent County Council pursued an e-scooter program to enhance mobility as COVID-19 limited public transit use.
