London Borough of Newham, GB partners with See.Sense on trial of smart bike lights with sensors

London Borough of Newham, GB See.Sense Smart Bike Lights

In Progress

Two hundred local cyclists received free See.Sense lights for the one-year pilot. See.Sense technology gathers data up to 800 times per second on bike speed, road conditions, and near-miss incidents. Council officials can identify heavily used bike routes, areas with frequent crashes, and other trends based on anonymized data. The borough will use pilot data to inform Romford Road Corridor improvements and design active travel initiatives.
