Marshall County, IN Prepared Live tool gives dispatchers access live to video feeds and GPS location
Marshall County, IN Prepared Live 911 dispatcher tool
In Progress
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is using a new tool "Prepared Live" which allows dispatchers to ask smartphone callers, via a text message, for a live video feed and obtain GPS location information. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will not be able to access other data on smartphones, but calls will be recorded. There is a “hide” feature in case it’s a domestic situation and the caller doesn’t want to give away that they are using their phone.
