Miami-Dade County's Water and Sewer Department partnered with Itron, US3, the Avanti Company to install an IoT-based system to better manage and supply water from 1,000 separate pump stations and 4,000 miles of infrastructure. This wastewater management solution monitors flooding, prevents sewer overflows, allows staff to respond to system failures more quickly, and improves water quality.
