Miami-Dade County is partnering with OBE Energy to install five new electric charging stations in a county-owned garage. Drivers who stop at the Government Center parking garage will pay 30 cents per kw/H to use these charging stations. The average charge lasts approximately three hours and costs around $7. OBE Energy pays for the electricity it uses and the county also gets a portion of the profits.
