Monash, VIC Pathways to Recycled Content Infrastructure

The initiative prioritizes recyclable use in new infrastructure projects and road upgrades. The first round of recycled material projects includes resealing a car park and a local road with Reconophalt made from locally sourced glass, plastic, and toner cartridges. The Atkinson Street cycleway will be completed using an Ecolite mix made from 95% recycled glass. Monash officials will open additional channels in their effort to reach net-zero emissions and full reuse of recyclables.
