Each food pantry in the county has a map entry that includes location and available services. Pitt County added community gardens, co-ops, and farmer markets to expand food access. App users can locate cooking courses and nutritional sessions to better understand food. Residents who want to help listed organizations search through the app's Volunteers section. Food Finder was developed by the county-appointed Farm and Food Council.
