Pittsburgh, PA considers new e-scooter traffic and parking regulations after residents complain
Pittsburgh, PA e-scooter traffic and parking regulations
The Pittsburgh City Council is considering new regulations for electric scooters after the city's MovePGH program received hundreds of complaints. If approved, the ordinance would require e-scooter riders to be at least 18 years old, limit riders to designated "pedacycle" lanes, and enforce a strict 15 mph speed limit. The ordinance would also require e-scooters to be parked perpendicular to the curb at designated corrals or adjacent to a public bicycle rack.
