Pittsburgh, PA Guaranteed Basic Mobility pilot

In Progress

The City of Pittsburgh launched a Guaranteed Basic Mobility pilot that covers transportation costs for 50 low-income residents for a one-year trial period. The pilot was designed to test whether reliable access to transportation improves employment and health outcomes for low-income households. The Manchester Citizens Corporation will provide participants with "trip coaching" to ensure that they know how to use the various transit services.
