Sacramento, CA COVID-19 Wi-Fi Buses Connected
Ten Wi-Fi buses were sent each day to areas of the city with limited connectivity due to business closures. Each bus spent the morning and afternoon in different locations to increase the project's impact. Residents within 1,800 feet of a Wi-Fi bus accessed high-speed Internet. The city worked with the Sacramento Regional Transit District and the California State Transportation Agency on the 60-day pilot.
