Bexar County is the first county in Texas to open a mobile unit for county clerk services. This mobile unit services the city of San Antonio and the suburbs of Bexar County allowing residents to access property records, purchase marriage licenses, register businesses, etc.

You can now get marriage licenses, records without going downtown | WOAI

Starting soon, you'll be able to buy a marriage license or even get property records without taking the trip downtown. The Bexar County Clerk's Office will be launching what they're calling it "Records on the Run. "The first stop is this Friday, from 9 a. m. , until 1 p. m. , at the Bexar County Precinct One's satellite office on South Pleasanton Road. More stops are planned to be added.

Project Succeeded

Physically visiting the county clerk's office may present mobility obstacles for veterans, the elderly, and those with disabilities. The mobile unit has been a successful alternative for accessing necessary services and will continue to operate in accordance to a pre-determined schedule publicized on the county’s website.
