San Francisco, CA boosts real-time parking data

San Francisco is integrating ParkMobile as an additional mobile payment option for its 26,000 on-street parking spaces, enhancing real-time data flow into the SFMTA’s citywide systems. All meter and mobile transactions are transmitted directly to the SFMTA’s parking data warehouse in real time, a process in place since 2014, supporting demand-responsive pricing and compliance policies. The multi-vendor approach aims to increase parking compliance by offering more convenient payment choices.
