St. Charles continues to remain at the forefront of police body cameras. While officers in other jurisdictions don’t even have body cameras, St. Charles PD contracted with Axon for cutting-edge body cameras. The City Council approved upgraded body cameras and dash cams for 2020.

ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The St. Charles City Council approved new cameras for their police cars. The city will buy 90 front- and rear-view cameras for the department's vehicles starting in 2020. Officers already carry body cameras, but they'll also get an upgrade with new ones in 2020.
