Baton Rouge-East Baton Rouge, LA safety mapping platform
The Baton-Rouge Police Department (BRPD) partnered with the Department of Information Services and the Mayor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness to launch the Baton Rouge Public Safety Common Operational Platform (PSCOP). The PSCOP maps out and centralizes public safety-related data. The PSCOP leverages geographical information system technology and dispatch logs to map reports of crime and traffic crashes in real time.
