Brisbane, QLD Metro Electric Bus System Zero Emission
City officials broke ground on two rapid transit routes covering 21 kilometers. A fleet of 60 electric-powered buses will serve 18 stations every three minutes during morning and afternoon commutes. Brisbane Metro will operate 24 hours a day during weekends and holidays. The new transit system connects with the planned Cross River Rail underground train and transit options in surrounding suburbs.
