Charlotte, NC Learn2Earn Digital Literacy Courses Pilot
Learn2Earn offered free, factory-sealed computers for participants who completed the required coursework. Eight digital literacy courses at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library built user confidence in computer skills needed for employment and school. The pilot complemented the city's Access Charlotte initiative, which used ARPA funding for free home Internet in 8,000 homes. Charlotte also funded expanded digital navigation services in partnership with the Center for Digital Equity.
