Christchurch City Council is partnering with the Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust to upgrade its social housing units with special types of insulation. The partnership is working to install thermal curtains, draft-stopping seals, spray-in foam insulation, and blow-in fibre insulation in 900 social housing units. This project is part of the Council's "Warm & Dry Initiative" to improve properties and create a more comfortable and healthy living environment for local tenants.
