Christchurch City Council, NZ Alcohol Action Plan COVID-19
In Progress
Christchurch City Council partnered with the Canterbury District Health Board to create the Christchurch Alcohol Action Plan (CAAP) to reduce alcohol harm in the community. The CAAP is focusing on recently increased drinking due to COVID-19 factors including anxiety, social isolation, and unemployment. The CAAP has increased its efforts and appointed a specialist to target the culture of alcohol abuse associated with the COVID-19 lockdowns.
