Genoa, LIG partners with Duferco Energia on all-electric carsharing program for city center

Genoa, LIG Duferco Energia All-Electric Carsharing Program

The partnership introduced Elettra Car Sharing with an initial fleet of 80 Volkswagen electric cars. Genoa residents reserve and return zero-emission vehicles to designated stations or use the free-flowing option to park elsewhere in the city center. An introductory 10-euro offer and per-minute rates starting from 0.35 euro provide an affordable transit option. Municipal officials and Duferco Energia anticipate a 300-vehicle fleet in the future.
