London Borough of Barnet, along with four other North Central London Boroughs, commissioned a new support service for adults affected by suicide. This Suicide Prevention and Bereavement Support Service helpline is operated by the Rethink Mental Illness charity. The service was designed to help individuals bereaved by suicide or experiencing suicidal thoughts during the COVID-19 pandemic. The helpline provides callers with emotional support, practical information, and connections to resources.
